1. PURPOSE
This policy explains when and how customers may exchange, obtain a refund, or recover a security-deposit on LP Gas cylinders from EPG Gas.
2. LP GAS CYLINDERS

Unused Cylinders
Returns of new, unused LP gas cylinders are accepted within 14 days of purchase, provided the cylinder is in its original condition and the seal has not been broken. Valid proof of purchase must accompany the return. -
Used Cylinders
Partially used or empty cylinders may be exchanged or refilled at any of our depots or accredited distributors. -
Faulty Cylinders
If a cylinder is found to be defective or leaking, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for a safe return and provide a replacement or refund as appropriate. -
LP Gas (Liquefied Petroleum Gas)
Due to safety regulations, returns of LP gas are not permitted once the gas has been dispensed or delivered. Please ensure you select the correct size and amount before completing your purchase.
3. SECURITY-DEPOSIT REFUNDS (Company-Owned Cylinders)
When you no longer need an EPG Gas-branded cylinder, you may return it for a security-deposit refund, provided:
- The cylinder passes a visual inspection (no severe physical damage, heat damage, or unauthorised welding).
- You present the original security-deposit invoice & proof of payment (amounts change over time).
Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
4. HOW TO REQUEST AN EXCHANGE, REFUND, OR DEPOSIT RETURN

- Provide your order or invoice number and describe the issue.
- We will confirm eligibility and arrange collection or advise you to bring the cylinder to the nearest depot.
- Following inspection we will issue an exchange, or process a refund / deposit return (if applicable).
- All returns and exchanges require a valid invoice and proof of purchase.
5. DAMAGED-IN-TRANSIT OR INCORRECT DELIVERIES
Please inspect goods on delivery. If an item is damaged or incorrect, notify the driver immediately. We will exchange the cylinder at no cost to you, or refund in full if an exchange is unavailable.
6. EXCLUSIONS
- Appliances, regulators, hoses, or fittings that have been used, installed incorrectly, or damaged through misuse.
- Any cylinder showing evidence of tampering or physical damage (e.g. unbranded seal, altered valve, unauthorised refill).
- Cylinders returned without valid proof of purchase or deposit invoice.
- EPG Gas reserves the right to refuse returns.
